The ZC8641 step-down regulator features Silent Switcher a
rchitecture designed to minimize EMI emissions while d
elivering high efficiency at frequencies up to 3MHz. A
; ^. H  Z5 D) pssembled in a 3mm × 4mm QFN, the monolithic con-st
ruction with integrated power switches and inclusion of all
1 b8 V9 D# w. ^8 Y% O- onecessary circuitry yields a solution with a minimal PCB fo
otprint. An ultralow 2.5µA quiescent current—with the o
utput in full regulation—enables applications requiring h
( L6 Z2 i+ M0 b/ r" F3 j, P; K: ]ighest efficiency at very small load currents. Transient r
4 e# P* F: e  k3 |- x1 pesponse remains excellent and output voltage ripple is

drain PG pin signals when the output is in regulation.
The SYNC/MODE pin selects between Burst Mode, pulse
skipping, or spread spectrum mode, and also allows syn
chronization to an external clock. Soft-start and tracking
functionality is accessed via the TR/SS pin. An accurate

resistor at the RT pin programs switch frequency.
