The Allegro-to-HyperLynx translator requires cadence's ASCII-out
/ G7 @$ ~+ u; O# G. P# _1 Z/ ]( K8 x: ^utility, EXTRACTA, as well as the Allegro directory structure.
This can be found in any Allegro installation including the
! b, {8 F- ^9 F5 D0 aAllegro Physical Viewer, which is available from Cadence.
(The free download - Allegro FREE Physical Viewer - will not
work for this purpose.)

HyperLynx Online Help includes instructions for operation of a
HyperLynx utility that works with Cadence's Extracta, and that can
be provided to your PCB service bureau.  This application is allegro2hyp;
and you can read more on this subject by navigating to 'Cadence Allegro
Translator' topic in the HyperLynx Help system.
