Installing cadence SPB / orcad 16.3
1 l# o9 D+ {  M2 O; [7 w8 L1. Install the license server
/ q, l$ L1 H% P! p3 b/ c5 p& Q" o2. Overwrite the file in the installation folder cdslmd.exe license manager on the tablet attached to
3. Create an environment variable with the value CDS_LIC_FILE this_host @ 5280. this_host replaced by the name of your machine (My computer-> properties-> advanced-> enviromnent variables)
4. Edit the first line in the file license163.lic - replace this_host the real name of your computer
5. LicenseServerConfiguration.exe run from your license manager (LicenseManager)
; S6 T* _8 q% y% Z3 h6. In the Select license, select the edited file license163.lic
& [8 i2 F& A: u" y6 H  W$ E) q* z- h3 u7. Click Next
8. In the editing window, check the Port number 5280
9. In the editing window Host Name check your machine's hostname (computer name)
+ k& q7 S7 c! L$ O% d6 h3 q10. Click Next
11. Click Next again
12. Click Finish
13. Reboot
# |# O2 k5 X5 I. Q" d9 J. \# @/ E14. Set Cadence SPB / OrCAD 16.3
15. Copy files from ... Aspirinpatch in the installation directory

17. Wait
18. Wait a while longer
19. Enjoy the Cadence SPB / OrCAD 16.3
