Installing cadence SPB / orcad 16.3
: l, \: y( h" S9 W1. Install the license server
0 _; I9 G) V- |8 q- v/ ?2. Overwrite the file in the installation folder cdslmd.exe license manager on the tablet attached to
3. Create an environment variable with the value CDS_LIC_FILE this_host @ 5280. this_host replaced by the name of your machine (My computer-> properties-> advanced-> enviromnent variables)
3 e0 n  q9 i# H0 `4. Edit the first line in the file license163.lic - replace this_host the real name of your computer
5. LicenseServerConfiguration.exe run from your license manager (LicenseManager)
6. In the Select license, select the edited file license163.lic
, X2 N( g7 M: W  Z7. Click Next
8. In the editing window, check the Port number 5280
9. In the editing window Host Name check your machine's hostname (computer name)
7 r5 ]/ n2 E3 X( y5 s. s10. Click Next
. E. D) A& V4 g/ r4 m11. Click Next again
; R0 z! ?  m6 Z0 c12. Click Finish
13. Reboot
* p7 F; A9 r( D1 \: q3 |. Q) M14. Set Cadence SPB / OrCAD 16.3
" y6 X1 x3 x1 G1 D! j8 t1 B15. Copy files from ... Aspirinpatch in the installation directory
16. Start RunMe!. Bat
17. Wait
' n/ h1 k& d) a! k" Q7 q2 v18. Wait a while longer
3 _3 M3 J6 Q1 }7 b0 Q19. Enjoy the Cadence SPB / OrCAD 16.3
