Description
ZCC5160 is a step-down DC/DC regulator with an
' n; G4 U2 A" w, V5 x- W/ Pinternal switch, featuring SKIP control mode, which
combines low quiescent current with high switching
frequency to achieve high-efficiency regulation over a
- h, ]9 x+ P3 h/ Awide range of load currents. SKIP mode uses a short
# G. W, ?. Q6 m% b% f; W"burst" cycle to switch the inductor current through
the internal power MOSFET, followed by a sleep
cycle in which the power switch is turned off and the
load current is provided by the output capacitor. At
light loads, burst cycles are a small fraction of the
& h' v+ ?6 S" J/ J9 s2 Itotal cycle time, minimizing average supply current
0 C! \  _- [. e' N/ c' oand greatly improving efficiency at light loads.
1 y3 _' }, e. E8 W6 fZCC5160 has a wide input voltage range of 4V-60V,
thus minimizing the need for external surge
suppression components. Making it the best choice
for wide input power range industrial and high cell
( e. g9 B3 s7 p3 z. ~, zcount battery pack applications. ZCC5160 is ideal for
use in the 48V automotive power bus range.

7 S% M" a7 \5 V! b6 {/ y80mΩ low-side MOSFET that provide at least 3A
output current capability with excellent load and line
transient response.
